For this project, we were given a set menu with food and drink items and were told to make 3 different designs. Then we had to turn one of them into an interactive mobile version. I decided to call my restaurant Anderson and Son's.
These designs were made on Illustrator and the mobile prototype is made on Figma.
We had to create three print menu layouts and turn one menu into a mobile experience (made in Figma). Each of the menu items were contributed by the students in the class. We were all in charge of making the restaurant name as well.
My process
Using Illustrator, I created three different styled menus. I played around with colors and type so that they would all convey different atmospheres. My favorite was the pink one because I could test different line styles. This was the menu that I chose to turn into a mobile experience on Figma. I wasn't able to play around much with any animation since this was a prototype on Figma. However, if I were to do this project again, I would do it on Webflow and add in some page transition animations.
